A small-data approach
Reel Conservatory is a static editorial website. It does not provide user accounts, run games, accept payments or operate a server-side contact form. We design the site to collect as little personal information as practical.
This notice explains what may be handled when you browse, choose a storage preference, follow an external link or email us. It is written for UK readers and was updated on 27 July 2026.
Browsing, preferences and email
Technical request data
Like most websites, the hosting infrastructure used to deliver these files may process basic request information such as an IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser or device information, referrer and security events. This data may be necessary to deliver the site, maintain security and diagnose faults. Retention and exact fields depend on the hosting service in use.
Local preference storage
If JavaScript is available, the cookie notice stores one value in your browser’s localStorage: whether you accepted functional storage or rejected optional storage. It stays on your device until you clear site data or change the preference. We do not use that value to identify you.
Email contact
The contact form opens your own email application; it does not send data to a Reel Conservatory form server. If you email us, we receive the address, message and anything else you choose to include. We use it to respond, assess corrections, maintain an appropriate record and protect legitimate editorial interests. Do not send identity documents, account credentials, payment details or sensitive health information.
Affiliate links
Outbound commercial links may include a campaign or affiliate identifier. The destination operator and its partners may process link, device and subsequent account information under their own privacy notices. Reel Conservatory does not receive your operator password or gameplay access through an affiliate link. Review the destination’s privacy information before providing data.
Sharing, retention and rights
We do not sell personal data. Information may be disclosed where reasonably necessary to hosting, email or security providers, to professional advisers, to protect legal rights, or where required by law. Services outside the UK may involve international transfers governed by the relevant provider’s safeguards.
Email correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, editorial records, dispute handling or legal obligations, then deleted or anonymised where practical. Technical hosting logs follow the host’s security and retention arrangements.
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Rights are not absolute and may not apply to information we do not hold. Contact privacy@reelconservatory.com with enough detail to identify the correspondence concerned. We have not invented a DPO or company registration: privacy enquiries go to this editorial address.
External sites control their own data. Their notices, not this one, govern information you submit after leaving Reel Conservatory.
