Independent by design
A writer’s lens, not a casino lobby
Reel Conservatory is an independent, affiliate-funded UK casino comparison resource. We are not a casino operator, regulator or game studio. We do not own any brand we discuss, take stakes or customer money, open accounts, resolve account disputes or make games run.
The editorial voice comes from the perspective of an experienced player-turned-writer: curious about game craft, wary of loud promotion, and more interested in who made a title than how many flashing panels surround it. Our job is to organise public information so an adult reader can compare with less friction.
Our boundary is simple: information and comparison sit here; accounts, identity checks, game access and customer service sit with the operator. Regulation and licence records sit with the UK Gambling Commission.
The process
How a review takes shape
Studios before spectacle
We examine game-provider visibility, categories, search, live-dealer organisation and mobile presentation. We use provider names as dated examples, never permanent inventory promises.
Promotion with context
We compare offer types without treating headline value as a recommendation. Eligibility, wagering, expiry, game restrictions and the option to decline matter more.
Opinion stays accountable
Rankings are judgement calls against published criteria. An operator cannot purchase its place, and commercial relationships are disclosed near relevant links.
Funding
Affiliate-supported, editorially separate
Some links carry tracking information. If an eligible reader follows one and later signs up, we may receive a commission from the operator. This can fund research and maintenance without adding a fee for the reader. It also creates a potential conflict, so we label advertising, publish the basis of rankings and keep safer-gambling information available without requiring a click to an operator.

Casino catalogues and corporate details move. If you spot a factual issue, send the page URL, the statement in question and a reliable current source through our contact page. We will assess corrections editorially. We cannot answer questions about an operator account or gameplay.
